Gionee of China has expanded its product portfolio in India and announced today 4 new smartphones in CEBIT trade fair in Bangalore. Gionee has launched V6L LTE, P5L LTE smartphones, which are LTE enabled and are priced attractively. Gionee also announced P4S and P6, which will be available by mid-December. Also showcased were the much awaited Gionee ELIFE S5.1 and S5.5 LTE devices from its S Series.
Gionee also announced that from 2015 onwards, all the devices above Rs. 10,000 will be LTE enabled devices.
GioneeV6L LTE
This Dual SIM smartphone sports a 5 inch display, and is powered by 1.2GHz Quad Core processor. It comes with 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, which can be expanded upto 128GB via microSD card. It runs on Android KitKat 4.4 OS and is equipped with 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. It is packed with 1950mAh battery and this phone has thickness of 6.9mm.
The V6L LTE has LTE connectivity and it comes with all new PPT mode wherein you can take pictures instead of notes and motion control where you just need to flip to mute or snooze the phone.
This phone carries a price tag of Rs. 15,000.
Gionee P5L LTE
This is also Dual-SIM smartphone and features a 4.7 inch FWVGA Display (480 x 854 pixels). Gionee claims that P5L LTE will enable users to works 5-30 times faster than 3G network. This smartphone is driven by Quad Core 1.2GHz processor and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS. It also comes with 1GB RAM, 8GB ROM expandable to 128GB. Other features include an 5MP rear camera and 2MP front camera, LTE connectivity, and is fuelled by a 1800 mAh battery.
This phone is priced at Rs. 10,000.
Gionee ELIFE S5.1
Gionee also showcased its most awaited Gionee ELife S5.1, which has a metallic frame and glass body of 5.1mm thickness. The Elife S5.1 packs a 4.8 inch AMOLED display of 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and runs on the 1.7GHz Octa Core processor supported by 1GB of RAM together with 16GB of built in storage, which can’t be expanded. The handset runs Android 4.4 with Gionee’s Amigo 2.0 UI. Other features include an 8MP rear camera, LTE connectivity, and 2050 mAh battery.
Gionee P4S
Gionee Pioneer P4S offers features like Window Flip in an entry level phone. The phone comes with a window flip which enables the phone to show weather, date and time in the flip window. The phone can be flipped to light up display and cover to power off. This handset has a semi transparent shell with rounded corners.
