Gionee Elife E6 Phablet Launched For Rs. 22,999

China based Gionee is making all out efforts to entrench its foot in highly competitive and large smartphone market of India. Following the success of its Elife series of smartphones in India, Gionee has added another smartphone to its portfolio and launched the flagship Elife E6 at Rs. 22,999 (MOP) in India. This smartphone is available in pearl white and black colors.


The Unibody Elife E6 is powered by 1.5 GHz Quad Core Processor, and sports a 5-inch OGS (One-Glass-Solution) with full HD display with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels and pixel density of 441ppi. This smartphone comes with Gorilla glass to give protection against scratches, and provides excellent screen clarity along with super smooth multi– touch interface. The Elife E6 runs on Android Jelly Bean v4.2 with Gionee’s customised Amigo Interface on the top. This device has 2GB RAM, and 32GB of internal memory, which is not expandable further as there is no micro SD card slot. The phone is packed with a 2020mAh battery. It is 7.9mm thick and weighs just 128g.


The Gionee Elife E6 is equipped with a 13-megapixel auto focus rear camera with a second generation BSI sensor, along with an LED flash, and a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter with a 28mm lens.

The other features of ELife E6 include Face beauty effects, Hands free Photos Gesture recognition, motion sensing, Panorama(Horizontal & Vertical), Eraser, face detection, MAV, geo tagging, Best Shot and touch focus enabling a superior picture capturing experience.

The Elife E6 also feature the Heartbeat Synchronizing technology, which enables the system to synchronize the wake up applications, which results in the high efficiency of processor and reduces power consumption.

This smartphone comes pre-loaded with apps including We Chat, NQ, UC Browser, Gionee game Zone, Gionee Xtender, Face book, You Tube, SAAVN, Twitter amongst others.

To aggressively market Elife E6 and to build Gionee brand in India, the company has earmarked budget of US$ 2.5 Million for the current festive season.
