Gionee of China has become very aggressive in the Indian market and after its huge success with Elife E6 in India, the company is set to launch its next flagship phablet Elife E7. Gionee has organised a grand media event, which will take place on 24th December, where Elife E7 would be officially launched in India. We have been invited by Gionee for the launch event. We shall cover the same and share with you our experience over there. The Elife E7 was announced in China on 27th November, and Gionee is giving lot of importance to Indian market as it is bringing this new premier smartphone within one month from its announcement.
The Elife E7 phablet is being pushed for its key feature of high-end 16MP auto-focus camera, and 8MP auto-focus front shooter. Gionee has mentioned in its media invite also that this smartphone has incredible camera and is made for shooting. According to Gionee, the new version of its Amigo software will enables users to use from five convenient ways to take photos which include Voice control, normal, touch, smile and v-gesture. Its new and improved imaging applications will enable users to edit photos, alter colors and more directly on the phone and create professional looking photos in just seconds. In addition, Elife E7 sports a Photo Album that automatically categorizes photos by time, place, and facial characterizes, and events; thus, enabling users to find a specific photo in seconds.
As for its other specifications, the Elife E7 sports a 5.5 Inch FHD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels, 401 PPI, and is powered by Qualcomm’s latest flagship S800 2.2 GHz Quad Core processor, coupled with 2GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory, which can be expanded upto 32GB. This smartphone will support both 3G and 4G networks. The Elife E7 is equipped with the latest 3rd Generation Gorilla Glass which is 20 times more scratch resistance than regular classes and twice as durable as the second generation of Gorilla Glass. In addition, Elife E7’s touch screen is immune to gloves, wet hands, and will ensure photographers can take pictures in any weather and situation.
Now, let us turn to the pricing factor. What will be the price of this phablet? It is anybody’s guess at the moment. But keeping in view of the fact that Elife E6 is selling at good pace in the price range of Rs. 21,000, the upcoming Elife E7 would be in the range of Rs. 25,000.
