Gionee Launches Another Brand Campaign – Hello India

It is festival time and to promote its highly successful smartphones, Gionee of China has launched the second leg of their festive brand campaign ‘Hello India’. Gionee had launched ‘7 seconds’ brand campaign few days ago. The festival campaign of Gionee will run across India in over 80 channels and in 8 languages that includes English, Hindi, Tamil, Kannad, Telegu, Malayalam, Marathi, and Bengali.

Gionee has achieved tremendous success with its smartphones since it started operations in India 18 months ago. Its Elife series of smartphones have been well-accepted by the Indian consumers. Gionee has become one of the major brands in India and claims to have sold 3 million phones in India so far.

The festive campaign – Hello India- is a greeting from the brand to all the real as well as aspiring users of Gionee. These are people with a new mindset for whom phones play a huge role in their lives. They are immersed in their phones spending most of their time with it, making the phones their primary companion. Considering the attachment with phones today, users are even willing to pay a premium and want the best of everything – design, speed, camera etc, state the company its press statement.

Speaking of the launch of the brand campaign Mr. Arvind vohra, India Head, Gionee smartphones said, “Gionee has had a great start in India and the brand has been received well by the Indian audience. With the new brand campaign we are looking at welcoming more users to be a part of the Gionee family. Phones have today become an extension of the personality and the campaign tries to capture these emotions and make a connect with the crowd thereby building a resonance with brand Gionee.”

The new brand campaign is a massive mix of nearly 20 edits of varying durations. While a few sequences are common across all films, each edit captures a fresh sequence unseen in the others.
