Google Nest Hub Smart Display Launched in India at Rs. 9,999

Google India today launched Google Nest Hub smart display in india which is powered by the Google Assistance. On this smart display, you can get the best of Google such as Search, Calendar, Maps, YouTube, Google Photos and more with the help of voice.

Priced at INR 9,999 Google Nest Hub is available in Chalk and Charcoal color variants on Flipkart, Croma, Reliance and TATA Cliq starting today. As part of launch offer, every buyer of a Google Nest Hub will also get a Google Assistant compatible Mi Home Security Camera for free. This offer can be redeemed at Flipkart and Tata Cliq, and is valid for a limited period.

On Nest Hub, users can enjoy music from YouTube Music, Gana, JioSaavn, Wynk, and Spotify. Users can easily access the entire catalog of YouTube — simply ask for how-to help videos from YouTube.

Google Nest Hub is also not an ordinary photo frame as it is easy to set up, automatically refreshes the photos that are displayed, and features some of your best shots. With Live Albums in Google Photos, users can relive recent memories with family and friends even while Hub is not in use. Google Nest Hub also makes it easy to search for specific photos. Simply say, “Ok Google, show my pictures from Goa,” and just like that, users will be taken back to their vacation.

The Routines featured in Nest Hub can provide users and their family members with useful information about the day ahead. Just say “Ok Google, good morning” for a personalised, visual overview of family activities from Google Calendar, commute from Google Maps, latest reminders, the weather forecast and more. Users will also be updated on the latest local news from sources like Times Internet, NDTV, India Today, Dainik Jagran and more. And with Voice Match, up to six people can get their own personalised information.

With Hub, everyone in the family can see and control compatible devices from a single dashboard called Home View—no more switching between multiple apps. Just swipe down, and you can dim lights, turn up the volume on the TV, and see who is outside using a smart camera. Home View lets users control more than 200 million connected devices from over 3,500 brands globally. With a simple tap or voice command, users can control products from Xiaomi, Syska lights, Oakter Plugs, Philips Hue, LG and more. Also, users can broadcast messages through all connected speakers at home. For example, just say “Ok Google, broadcast dinner’s ready!” to round up the family.

With Nest Hub, you can use voice to browse millions of recipes from NDTV Food, Veg Recipes of India, Archana’s Kitchen and more.

Google Nest Hub has 7-inch screen. With soft rounded corners, Hub fits naturally on any surface be it kitchen counter or living room. With no camera on Google Nest Hub, the smart speaker with a screen can even be placed even in the bedroom.

Google Nest Hub’s Ambient EQ light sensor, that is placed on the top of the device, allows the screen to automatically adjust to match the lighting in the room, so photos on Google Nest Hub will blend in with the room, too. That means no glowing screen—it fits seamlessly into your home. When it’s time for bed, Hub knows to dim the screen for a good night’s sleep.
