LINE messaging service has announced the launch of Hindi-English translator bot for Indian consumers that enables users to translate their messages from Hindi to English, and vice-versa. This feature enable users to add both their friends and the Translation Bot feature to their group chats. This feature is an industry-leading initiative and designed to benefit users all over India.
“The Hindi English Translation Bot represents a practical approach to help our users in India to break the language barrier to communicate with each other. LINE is committed to making the chat experience more immersive by building localisation features in the app,” said Spokesperson from LINE.
According to LINE, it is very simple procedure to use this feature and they have listed below the procedures to use it:
- Start LINE and tap [More] > [Official Accounts], scroll down to [News/Tools] and add the [ENG- IN translator] as a friend.
- If you want to translate something, tap [ENG- IN translator] on your Friends list and tap [Chat]. Once in the chat-room, you can type the message you want to get translated.
- If you want the [ENG- IN translator] to translate chat-messages between you and your friends, please select [Add Friends] from the chat-room menu and add the [ENG- IN translator] to your chat. You can also invite the [ENG-IN translator] to your groups in the usual way.
LINE messenger app is used globally in more than 230 countries. It offers free one-to-one and group messaging. Free domestic and international voice and video calls are also available.
