At an event in Beijing, Honor has announced today HONOR View30 Series, its first dual-mode 5G smartphones comprising of Honor V30 and V30 Pro. Both the phones have almost similar specifications except minor changes in rear camera set-up; RAM, ROM and Battery capacities. Both the phones are powered by HUAWEI Kirin 990 octa-core processor with GPU Turbo and Kirin Gaming+ 2.0 for an ultimate gaming experience.
Both the phones sport 6.57” FullView FHD+ Display (2400p x 1080p, 16.7M colors, NTSC 96%, 400 PPI).
The HONOR View30 PRO comes with a SuperSensing Triple Camera that comprises a 40MP Sony IMX600 Main Camera, a 12MP Super Wide-Angle Camera with Cine-Lens and an 8MP Telephoto Camera. The HONOR View 30 has a similar setup but is equipped with an 8MP Super Wide Angle Camera. The HONOR View30 PRO’s 12 MP Cine-Camera is supported with a 4-in-1 light fusion (effective 2.8?m pixels) from an RGGB sensor and a 109° super wide angle lens, along with a 16:9 customized sensor to create movie-grade photos and videos. Both the phones have dual-lens front camera comprising of a 32MP AI Selfie Camera and an 8MP Wide Angle Selfie Camera.
The V30 is packed with 4200mAh and V30 Pro is packed with 4100mAh battery with 40W super Fast charging and 27W wireless charging. Both the phones run on Magic UI 3.0.1 based on Android 10. Both the phones offer connectivity options of Wi-Fi 2.4GHz: 802.11 b/g/n, MIMO, Wi-Fi 5GHz: 802.11 a/n/ac, MIMO, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/Glonass/BeiDou
and Type C USB 2.0. Both the phones have side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
These phones will be available in China starting 5th December and 12th December priced as V30 Pro at RMB 3899 (approx. Rs. 41K) for 8GB + 128GB version and RMB 4199 ( approx. Rs. 43K) for 8GB + 256GB version; V30 at RMB 3299 (approx. Rs. 34K) for 6GB + 128GB version and RMB 3699 (approx. Rs. 38k) for 8GB + 128GB version in Blue, White, Orange and Light Blue colors.
HONOR has also unveiled the latest HONOR MagicBook Series, comprising the MagicBook 14 and MagicBook 15. The HONOR MagicBook 14 comes with the latest AMD Ryzen 7 3700U processor, high-speed PCIe SSD, up to 16GB RAM and a massive 56Wh battery. On the other hand, the new MagicBook 15 features a large 15.6-inch display with an 87% screen-to-body ratio, weighing only 1.53 KG.
