Nowadays social networking platforms such as Twitter and Facebook have become very popular especially among the youngsters. These two networking platforms were used extensively by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi during parliamentary elections and what he has acheieved with this exercise is living example. Our PM is still very active on Twitter and Facebook and his day to day activites are tweeted quite liberally by his office.
In the recent DUSU elections of Delhi University, BJP’s student wing ABVP swept off all four seats, the results of which were declared today. ABVP had extensively used Twitter platform and undertaken several campaigns on Twitter including posting the party’s manifesto, connecting with voters, and even recruiting new volunteers. Post victory, BJP ministers and supporters took to Twitter to celebrate the moment.
