HP Launches Star Wars Special Edition Notebook At Rs. 73,000


For fans of upcoming movie, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, HP has launched today Star Wars Special Edition Notebook in India running on Windows 10 OS. This notebook is priced Rs. 73,000 and will be available from 20th November 2015.


The design of this notebook is inspired by the Star Wars movie. The Star Wars Special Edition has a “battle-worn” distressed design with “Galactic Empire” written in the unique Star Wars Aurebesh font on the hinge and an iconic Storm Troopers on the keyboard deck. The touchpad design mirrors the X-wing Star Fighter Guidance System and the red backlit keyboard completes the dark-side design.


This notebook features a 15.6 inch diagonal Full HD display and optional touch. It is powered by the latest Sixth
generation Intel Core i5 Processor. It its claimed to have a strong battery back-up of 7 hours. This notebook comes with an optical drive and is equipped with dual speakers to enjoy movies with bold sound experience. This notebook can also be operated with an optional slim, sleek and refined Star Wars Special Edition Wireless Mouse.

This notebook comes with fully loaded content of Star Wars history and its themes. By clicking on the Imperial Cog desktop icon, the users will be taken to the Star Wars Command Center for browsing the Star Wars Special Edition’s Themes and Galleries. Users will have access to unique content collections with over 1,100 images spanning 40 years of Star Wars history. Content includes extraordinary behind-the-scenes images, storyboards, artwork, classic photos, set and costume designs, and audio selections.

The Star Wars Special Edition includes several other features to enhance the customer experience which includes access to the first Marvel Star Wars comic in the series, e-book excerpts from the Star Wars Universe and Star Wars movie trailers.
