Alongside flagship HTC One M8, two more smartphones were launched today by HTC in New Delhi – HTC Desire 210, which is entry-level smartphone priced at Rs. 8,700 and will start selling in India by the end of this month at MOP of Rs. 8,700, and Desire 816, which is mid-range smartphone, which will go on sale from the first week of May at MOP of Rs. 23,990. This smartphone will be available in Stealth Black and Polar White design.
The Desire 201 features a 4-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) display, and is powered by a 1GHz dual-core MediaTek (MT6572M) processor coupled with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB with the help of microSD card.This is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device and supports one Micro-SIM and another regular SIM. The Desire 210 runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with HTC ‘s Sense UI on top. It is equipped with a 5-megapixel rear camera, and also has a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. For connectivity, this phone supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, EDGE/GPRS and 3G. The phone is packed with a 1300mAh battery.
The Desire 210 also has prominent feature of BlinkFeed of premium HTC One smartphone. With this feature, you can get updates from your favourite news and social sites including Twitter, Facebook and China’s Sina Weibo on the screen of Desire 210, in crisp detail and rich colour. Moreover, with the offline Reading mode, you can view articles from your personal feed, drawn from more than 20,000 articles a day from the world’s leading media companies.

On the other hand, HTC Desire 816, is a mid-range smartphone and sports a 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixel) screen, and is powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor coupled with 1.5GB of RAM. It has 8GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded upto 128GB via microSD card. It is equipped with a 13-megapixel rear and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. This smartphone runs on Android KitKat OS with HTC’s own HTC Sense on top. It is fuelled by a 2600mAh battery. This is Dual-SIM ( GSM+CDMA) phone and supports Wi-Fi,Bluetooth,3G etc.
HTC Desire 816 also comes loaded with dual-frontal speakers, BoomSound for enhanced audio quality, and HTC BlinkFeed, which enables users to remain updated with the latest news and social updates on its large screen.
