HTC Launches Mid-Range Desire 501, Desire 601 & Desire 700

HTC of Taiwan has expanded its portfolio of Desire range of smartphones and announced today three new smartphones with Dual-SIM capabilities – Desire 501 at Rs. 16,890, Desire 601 at Rs. 24,190 and Desire 700 at Rs. 33,050.

HTC Desire 501 has following key features :

  •  4.3-inch Super LCD  display with a resolution of 480×800 pixels
  • 1.15GHz dual-core processor
  •  1GB of RAM
  • 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash and BSI sensor
  • Dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) capability with dual active support
  • 8GB internal storage  expandable up to 64GB via a microSD card
  • Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS with HTC’s Sense 5 UI on top
  • 2100mAh battery
  • Connectivity options : Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, DLNA, Micro-USB and built-in NFC

HTC Desire 601 features :

  • 4.5-inch qHD display with a resolution of 540×960 pixels
  • 1.2GHz quad-core processor
  • 1GB of RAM
  • Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean with HTC’s Sense 5 UI on top
  • 5-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera
  •  4GB internal storage expandable up to 64GB with a microSD card
  • GSM+GSM Dual-SIM support
  •  2100mAh battery – 12 hours of talktime and up to 582 hours of standby time
  • Two Boom Sound front speakers – same as of  HTC One

HTC Desire 700 features :

  • 5-inch qHD display with a resolution of 540×960 pixels
  • 1.2GHz quad-core processor and
  • 1GB of RAM. Desire 700 sports an
  • 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash and a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera with BSI sensor
  • 8GB internal storage which is expandable up to 64GB with a microSD card. It runs o
  • Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean with HTC’s Sense 5 UI running on top and packs a
  • 2100mAh battery- 11.6 hours of talktime and up to 582 hours of standby time
  • Two Boom Sound front speakers similar to the HTC One
  • Connectivity options : Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, DLNA, GPS/AGPS and 3G

The HTC Desire 601 would be available by this week-end whereas Desire 700 is expected to reach retail shelves around 25th of December.
