HTC Launches Two Of Its One Series Smartphones In India

Taiwan handsets maker – HTC  has announced the launch of two of its One series Android smartphones in Indian market- One X, which is company’s first quad core high-end phone  and mid-range device ‘One V’. These models will go on sale starting April 2 in the country. HTC is silent on the release of the third smartphone of the series ‘One S’.

These smartphones were  showcased at Mobile World Congress last month. HTC One X features a 4.7″ inch (1,280x720p) display, and is powered by 1.5 GHz quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor. It also comes with 8.0 MP camera at the rear with support for 1080p video recording and a 1.3MP front facing shooter capable of for 720p HD videos.  HTC One V is a mid-range smartphone with features like 3.7″ inch WVGA display, 1GHz single core processor, and 5.0 MP camera with 720p recording.

In this highly competitive and price sensitive market, the above two devices appear to be little bit expensive. If a customer has to spend so much money then the prices will be compared with Samsung handsets, which are quite popular in India and available at less than suggested prices of HTC. It will be seen in the coming days how HTC is able to push its new devices in this market.
