HTC One Launched In Delhi;Available Now In Stores

HTC One is finally available now across the country in retail stores at Rs. 42,900. This smartphone was scheduled to be available in India by the end of April, but due to some issues with its components suppliers, the company was forced to delay the shipment to India despite its huge response, since its announcement.

Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez unveiled the phone on 29th May and handed-over the devices to select customers at HTC Concept Store, New Delhi.

The HTC ONE is elegantly designed and has refined metallic body, and features 4.7-inch full HD 1080p display WITH 468 ppi, compared to 326 ppi available on iPhone 5. This smartphone is powered by a 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, and runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with HTC Sense 5.

HTC has introduced a new way of photography in HTC One with a 4MP rear camera that uses UltraPixel sensor to use larger pixels from within and thereby increasing the quality of photos especially in low-lit areas. The common 8 MP on smartphones these days have good quality images but the result of those images in low-lit areas is fuzzy. HTC One also has optical image stabilization, ImageSense 2 processor and other camera apps to improve the image quality further. There is a front camera as well of 2.1MP with 1080p video chat and recording. The camera app also includes a new feature called Zoe that creates a 4 second film videos alongside the photos taken and ends up creating animated thumbnails and gives the ability to create multimedia presentation to share online using Highlight mode.

HTC has also came up with a new idea for the speakers by placing dual speakers in the front at top and bottom of the HTC one.. We usually hold our smartphones in such a way that when on loudspeaker, the hand covers the speaker. But HTC One’s BoomSound dual speakers placed conveniently gives much better sound quality that is further enhanced by Beats Audio and HDR recording. The connectivity offered is the usual access of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, DLNA, NFC, USB, HDMI and the irremovable Li-Po battery runs at 2300mAh giving 15-16 hours of economical usage.

Reliance Communications has partnered with HTC to bring the new HTC One in India, and they have bundled the device with exciting offers. Every Reliance GSM subscribers can avail 1GB of 3G data free for 3 months along with free sharing of unlimited text, music, pictures and videos through WhatsApp and Facebook for 3 months.
