HTC has launched today in India variant of its highly successful HTC One smartphone, which will be known as HTC One. Probably, HTC is following footsteps of Korean giant Samsung, who has come out with various variants of its Galaxy S4 smartphone.
HTC One Mini will come with majority of features which the premier HTC One carries including Blinkfeed, Zoe and Ultrapixel camera. HTC One Mini has a 4.3-inch screen with1280x720p resolution and 341ppi pixel density compared to 4.7-inch full HD 1080p display with 468 ppi of HTC One. It runs Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), with HTC Sense 5.0 user interface superimposed on it. The HTC One Mini is powered by a 1.4GHz dual-core processor alongside 1GBRAM, and 16GB internal storage with no microSD card support. It has a 4 megapixel UltraPixel camera with LED flash on the back, and a 1.9 megapixel front camera. The phone will be packed with a 1,800mAh Li-Polymer battery, and comes withBoomSound speakers and Beats Audio technology for sound enhancement.
Lookwise, the HTC One Mini looks almost like its older sibling except that the dimesion of this smartphone are little bit smaller due to its shorter screen size.
Available in Glacial Silver and Stealth Black, the HTC One Mini has a unibody design. This smartphone is priced at Rs. 36,790. In our opinion, this price is on higher side if this smartphone has to compete with Galaxy S4 Mini and Google Nexus 4, which are now available in India for Rs. 23,000 and Rs. 23,300, respectively.
Moreover, HTC has faced arlier serious logistics problems with almost all the smartphones and hope this time, they have sufficient stock in their warehouse to meet the demands of various retailers across the country.
