Huawei of China has launched today in India two devices in its Honor series- Honor Holly smartphone and Honor X1 tablet. The Honor Holly is priced at Rs. 6,999 and the Honor X1 tablet is priced at Rs. 19,990. These devices will be available exclusively on Flipkart.com, starting 16th Oct., 2014.
The Honor Holly is designed by Huawei’s London Design Center inspired by smooth and eroded pebbles with an idea of natural balance. With curved back, the Holly comes with a 68% screen-to-body ratio, ultra compact, light and thin 100% high gloss coating.
The Honor Holly sports a 5 inch display with HD IPS screen, and is driven by a Quadcore 1.3 GHz processor, paired with 1 GB RAM and 16 GB ROM for storage needs. This smartphone runs on Android KitKat 4.4.2 OS and is packed with 2000mAh energy efficient battery that comes with Huawei’s patented 30% Power Saving Technology.
The Dual SIM(3G+2G) Honor Holly is equipped with an 8 MP BSI rear camera and a 2 MP front camera. It supports connectivity options like the HSPDA with upto 42Mbps D/L speed, Wi-Fi direct and BT 4.0.
The Honor Holly is claimed to offer higher call quality with its strong signal receiving capability and stable calls even in weak signal environment. It comes with half-shielded metal plate and gets strong reception even in underground garages and other spotty areas.
The Honor X1 tablet has an aluminum body combined with Nano Dull Polish that make the device look delicate and stylish. This portable tablet is just 7.18 mm thin and weighs 239 grams. This tablet has 7 inch Full HD LTPS screen with resolution of 323 ppi. It is driven by a 1.6 GHz Quad Core Processor with Kirin 910 chipset, supported with 2GB RAM and 16 GB ROM.
The Honor X1 sports a 13 MP Sony BSI rear camera with a 75 degree wide angle and a Hybrid IR Blue glass and 5MP wide angle front camera with 10-level auto face enhancement. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS with Huawei’s patented Emotion UI 2.0.It also comes with special motion & gesture control features like flip to mute, shake to re-arrange apps on screen & tilt to move icons to name a few.
This tablet is fuelled by a 5000mAh energy efficient battery with Huawei’s 30% Patented Power Saving Technology, which is claimed to have a five day battery life and doubles up as a a power bank to charge other devices.
The Honor X1 will be available in Diamond White color.
