Infinix has annoucned the launch of its Infinix Zero 8i smartphone which is powered by MediaTek Helio G90T 64 bit Octa-core processor with 12nm FinFET and ARM Mali – G70 GPU clocked at 800GHz and MediaTek HyperEngine game technology. ZERO 8i also comes with Multi-Dimensional Liquid Cooling Technology, which decreases the temperature of the device by 4°C to 6°C to ensure smooth game play for heavy games like Call Of Duty, Free Fire or Asphalt Legends etc without excessive power consumption as claimed by the company. This phone is packed with 4500mAh battery with 33W fast charge support and has the capability of charging the device from 0 to 70% within 30 mins.
The ZERO 8i also comes with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of internal storage to stay. It has 3 card slots (Dual nano SIM + Micro SD) with expandable memory up to 256 GB. It runs on Android 10 with the latest XOS 7 skin which has refreshed icons on the interface screen that have been moved down for ease of use and one hand operation.
This phone sports a huge 6.85” FHD+ Dual Pin Hole Display with a 90.1% screen-to-body ratio and 480 NITS brightness and 1500:1 contrast ratio. It comes with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate which allows faster screen response. This phone has DTS-HD Surround sound which gives a premium cinematic sound experience as further claimed by the company.
For security, the ZERO 8i features a multifunctional side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It offers connectivity options of USB Type-C, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0 and GPS + GLONASS.
On the photography front, the Zero 8i is armed with 48MP AI Quad rear camera with an 8MP Ultra-Wide angle lens to capture wide shots at 119 degrees, a 2MP depth sensor and an AI lens. It has Super Night mode which is claimed to allow capturing of bright and low noise pictures even in low light conditions. ZERO 8i also features a Ultra-steady Video mode to capture clear and stable images/videos from both the front as well as the rear camera. For selfies, this phone is packed with 16MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture and 8MP 105° ultra-wide camera with dual LED flash.
The rear camera of ZERO 8i also comes with Slow Motion video recording mode that allows users to capture Super Slow-motion videos with 960fps on the back of automatic frame bending, Edge compensation, stroboscopic elimination & Motion detection. The camera is capable of shooting 4K high definition videos at 30fps or FHD videos at 60fps through the 4K HD video recording mode.
The ZERO 8i comes in two colors of Silver Diamond & Black Diamond. It will be available at a limited period introductory price of just INR 14,999 on Flipkart from 09th December 2020.
This phone has Diamond Cut Gem Texture Design that is inspired by the famous Louvre’s “Diamond Glass” structure. On the rear panel. it ha a unique lozenge-shaped camera module and contrast color spraying process, which forms a strong visual impact through a colourful rainbow aurora from different angles.
