Tecno Mobile has launched today Tecno Pova smartphone in India. This phone is powered by Helio G80 Octacore 2.0 GHz Processor paired with a Mali-G52 GPU. The processor’s in-built HyperEngine Game Technology provides superb image quality, smooth game-play and ensure uninterrupted connectivity for dedicated gamers as well as smooth daily operations with a faster response rate as claimed by the company.
The Tecno Pova sports a 6.8-inch dot-in HD+ screen with 20.5:9 aspect ratio having resolution of 1640 x 720 with 90.4% screen to body ratio. This phone is packed with 6000 mAh battery that is claimed to provide 30-day standby time. The battery comes with 18W dual IC fast charging support which charges 20% faster than single IC fast charge as further claimed by the company. This phone will be available in two variants of 4GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB ROM and 6GBLPDDR4X RAM with 128 GB ROM which can be further extended upto 256GB via microSD card.
On the imaging front, this phone is equipped with AI Quad Rear Camera set-up comprising of 16 MP + 2MP + 2MP + AI Lens with Super Quad Flash. The camera comes with various modes such as Bokeh, Macro, Slow Motion, Short video, 2K video recording, AI body shaping, Google Lens, Document scanner etc. It also supports slow motion videos at 120 fps continuous recording at 720p HD Quality. For selfies, this phone has 8MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture and dual LED flash.
This phone runs on HiOS 7.0 based on Android 10 with features such as Game Space, Game Mode and Game Assistant 2.0 that also include a do not disturb function, performance boosting modes and quick-access toolbar etc. This phone offers connectivity options of 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS+ GLONASS and Beidou. This phone has fingerprint sensor on the back.
TECNO Pova is priced Rs. 9999 for 4GB+ 64GB variant and Rs. 11999 for 6GB + 128 GB variant. It will be available in three colors of Dazzle black, Magic Blue and Speed Purple. It will go on sale from 11th Dec onwards at Flipkart.
