Intex Launches Its First 4G Phone – Aqua 4G+ At Rs 9499

Now, it has started raining 4G smartphones. After onslaught of 4G devices by Chinese companies, now we have seen emergence of 4G devices by Indian companies. Few hours ago, Micromax announced its first 4G enabled Canvas Knight 2, and now it is the turn of Intex to launch its first 4G smartphone – Aqua 4G+. The Indian comapnies are taking advantage of their successful models to add 4G support in these devices. In the coming days, we will see more 4G devices being announced by Indian companies.

The Aqua 4G+ is priced Rs. 9,499 and is now available in two color variants- Black and White.


The Aqua 4G+ is a Dual-SIM device and sports a 5-inch display with resolution of 1280×720 pixels with a Dragon trail glass which is claimed to be six times stronger than ordinary glass strength and offers resistance to abrasions.  It is powered by a 1.3GHz Quad-Core processor (MT6735 chipset) and 2GB RAM. It has internal storage of 16GB RAM, which can be further expanded upto 32GB. It is equipped with a 13MP (AF) Rear Camera and 5MP Front camera for the selfies.

This smartphone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop, and is packed with a 2300mAh Li-Polymer battery with power saving mode. It has connectivity options of 4G, 3G, GPS,Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot etc. This smartphone supports 21 regional languages and has features of Smart Gesture and Double click to awake.
