The leading Indian handsets brand, Micromax has forayed into 4G segment and launched its first flagship smartphone for this category- Canvas Knight 2 with powerful features. The Canvas Knight 2 is priced Rs. 16,299 and will be available from 10th June across India.
The Canvas Knight 2 comes with a free 4G SIM and an Airtel 4G Double Data offer which doubles the 4G data amount for any consumer activating the 4G SIM.
The Canvas Knight 2 is a Dual-SIM device, which offers support for 2G/3G/4G on both Dual SIM slots. Moreover, Nano SIM card slot can be replaced with the memory card to store more pictures, songs, videos etc.
The Canvas Knight 2 features a 5 inch HD Amoled display and runs the latest Android Lollipop 5.0 OS. This devie is made of Glass & Metal which is fortified with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on both sides for giving it protection against scratches. It is powered by a 64 bit, 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 1.5GHz Octa Core processor paired with 2GB DDR3 RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded upto 32GB via microSD card.
It is equipped with a 13MP AF rear camera powered with Sony IMX214 CMOS sensor and LARGAN 5P lens. For the selfie lovers, this device comes with a 5MP FF front camera accompanied with Omnivison OV5648 and LARGAN 4P lens.
To cater to the taste of music aficionados, the Canvas Knight 2 has been provided with Cirus Logic Wolfson Stereo WM8998, which claims to reproduce room-filling, deep sound. It is packed with a 2260 mAh battery, which is rated to provide talk time of 7hours and 45mns and standby of upto 335 hours.
The Canvas Knight 2 comes pre-loaded with various apps such as CleanMaster, Snapdeal, Swiftkey, Chaatz, Newshunt , Quikr, Hotstar etc.
