At an event in New Delhi, itel mobiles today launched the itel S42, itel A44 and itel A44 Pro smartphones. All these phones come with a full-screen display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The itel S42 run on Android 8.0 Oreo whereas the itel A44 and A44 Pro run on Android 7.0 Nougat OS.
itel S42 comes with 5.65-inch display and 18:9 HD+ resolution (1440X720) with ultra-thin bezel design. It is equipped with dual flash 13 MP PDAF rear & 13 MP front camera, supported by f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens and clubbed with 120-degree wide selfie angle and the bokeh beauty mode.
This phone is powered by quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor clocked at 1.4Ghz processor mated with 3GB RAM and internal memory of 16GB which is expandable up to 128 GB.
This phone has ultra-fast fingerprint sensor which besides unlocking the phone enable users to take pictures, answer and record calls, control the alarm. This phone also boasts of face unlock feature.
The S42 is packed with dedicated dual-SIM ports and offers connectivity options of 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS. This phone is packed with 3000mAh battery.
The itel A44 & A44 feature 5.45-inch full screen (480×960 pixels) FWVGA display with aspect ratio of 18:9 and ultra-thin bezels. These smartphones are powered by MediaTek MT6737M 64 bit quad-core processor. The A44 comes with 1GB RAM with 8GB of storage whereas the A44 Pro has 2GB RAM with 16GB of storage which can be further extended up to 32GB with microSD card.
Both the phones have fingerprint sensor and are also come equipped with smart key to enable Bike mode function.
The A44 is packed with 5MP rear and front cameras with LED flash whereas the A44 Pro comes mounted with 5MP rear camera with LED flash and 8MP front camera with LED flash. Both the phones have 2400mAh battery and offer connectivity options of 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG.
The itel S42 comes in Black and Champagne colors and is priced Rs. 8,499. The A44 is priced Rs. 5,799 and comes in Champagne (Black TP), Rose gold (White TP) & Red (Black TP) colors. These two phones will be available via offline channels from 20th March. The A44 Pro will be available from April and the company has not disclosed its price.
