Jivi Launches Budget Android Smartphones With KitKat OS, Starting At Rs. 2,999

The upcoming Indian brand, Jivi, has announced the launch of three budget smartphones for the entry-level segment. These three smartphones running on Android KitKat 4.4 OS are – Jivi JSP 29, Jivi JSP 38 and Jivi JSP 47. These smartphones are priced Rs. 2999, 3299 and 4199, respectively. All three models are available in black and white colour variants.

The Jivi JSP 29 features a 3.5 inch capacitive screen, dual camera – 2.0 megapixel on the rear and a VGA camera in front,1 GHz processor, 512MB of ROM, 256 MB RAM and a 1450 mAh battery.

The Jivi JSP 38 comes with a 4 inch full touch capacitive screen with a resolution of  480×800 pixels (217 ppi pixel density); dual camera – 5.0 megapixel camera on the rear and a VGA camera in front, 1 GHz processor, 256 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM,and a battery of 1500mAh.

The Jivi JSP 47 sports a 4.5 inches bright Full Touch Capacitive screen with resolution of 480 x 854 pixels.  It has an IPS Panel (Full Wide Video Graphics Array In-Plane Switching) – a screen technology used for LCDs that is claimed to enable faster response, clear visibility from any angle and high quality colour reproduction. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz Dual Core processor with 4GB ROM and 512 MBRAM.

This smartphone is equipped with a 5 megapixel rear camera and also houses a front camera. It comes with global positioning system (GPS), and is packed with a 1650 mAh battery.

All the above three Jivi smartphones support Dual SIM, and their external memory is expandable up to 32 GB using a micro-SD card. These phones have a Jivi App Store icon through which users can download games, songs, videos and other multimedia content.

The above three Jivi phones are 3G compatible and also have WiFi and Bluetooth in terms of connectivity. The users can generate WiFi hotspot for enabling Internet access on devices in vicinity.
