Karbonn has launched today Quattro L55 HD smartphone in India. Priced at Rs. 9990, this phone comes with a VR headset to give virtual reality experience at an affordable price.
This phone sports a 5.5 inch HD IPS-LCD display and runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 OS. Under the hood of this smartphone is 1.3 GHz Quad core processor combined with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage which is expandable to 32GB via microSD card.
On the imaging front, this phone is packed with 13-megapixel rear camera with auto focus and flash. It also houses a 5-megapixel front camera for clicking selfies. This phone gets its juice from 2700mAh battery.
This phone supports 4G LTE VoLTE and also offers other standard connectivity options of Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, micro-USB etc.
Of late, many budget phones such as Intex Aqua View (with Eyelet VR) and Lenovo K4 Note have been launched with the virtual reality headsets. Although these devices provide entry level virtual reality experience and Karbonn Quattro L55 HD also is in the same league yet it will face stiff competiton from these devices if VR feature is taken into account.
