It is another week and the juggernaut of low-budget smartphones running the Android KitKat OS continue. Today, the Karbonn, India’s leading smartphone manufacturer has forayed into the affordable KitKat OS platform and launched Karbonn Titanium S99 smartphone. This smartphone is priced at Rs. 5,990 and will be available in black and white colors. The Titatnium S99 is bundled with an additional Protective Silicon Case to protect it from falls and accidental bumps.
The Titatnium S99 runs on Android KitKat OS version 4.4.2, and features a 4 inches IPS Capacitive Touch Screen. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad core CPU, coupled with 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded upto 32GB via microSD card. This smartphone comes with 5 Mega Pixel rear camera and a 0.3 MP front camera for video calling.
The Titatnium S99 is packed with a 1400mAh battery and has Dual SIM support along with the 3G connectivity. The other networking options available on this smartphone are GPS navigation, G-Sensor, Proximity & Wi-Fi.
With the launch of Titatniums S99, Karbonn aims to make the latest Android KitKat OS based smartphone affordable to millions of budget conscious consumers especially in Tier II and III cities.
