To expand its portfolio of Iris range of smartphones, Lava Inernational has launched another smartphone dubbed as Iris 450.The smartphone is priced at Rs 7,999 and will be available across national retail chain stores, multi-brand outlets across India and online stores.
To make it attractive to the young audience who prefer bright colors, the Iris 450 comes with six gorgeous colourful back panels in different sets with black or white. These are Blue, Tan Brown, Raspberry Pink, Violet, Ivory White and Pro Black. The smartphone is available in two colours – Pro black and Ivory white. The smartphone will include a stylish and durable extra flip cover of the same colour and one replaceable back panel of different colour. Consumers buying the Pro black version will have the option to choose between blue and Tan brown coloured back panel. Consumers buying the Ivory white version will have the option to choose between blue and raspberry pink coloured back panel. Violet coloured back panel will be available off the shelf.
The Iris 450 sports a 4.5 inches FWVGA (854×480 pixels) IPS display with 16.7 million colours, and is powered by a 1.3 GHz Dual Core processor along with Mali 400 Graphics unit. This smartphone runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and has 512MB of RAM. It has an internal memory of 4GB which is expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card. It is packed with a battery of 1800 mAh, which is claimed to deliver talk time of approx. 9 hours on 2G and 8.3 hours on 3G networks.
This smartphone is equipped with a 5 MP Fixed Focus back camera with LED flash and 0.3 MP front camera with features like HDR Mode, Burst Mode and Panaroma Mode. It is also claimed to offer Assisted GPS to reduce start-up time of GPS and ensure faster location and positioning services.This Dual SIM( WCDMA+GSM with Dual Standby) smartphone offers 3G, Wi-fi and Bluetooth support along with other connectivity options like EDGE and USB tethering.
