Indian handsets mobile company, LAVA International Limited, has unveiled its much awaited Iris Pro series by launching the premium Iris Pro 30 smartphone. Lava International is the fastest growing company in India having 7% market share in India, and would be coming out with more advanced smartphones in Iris Pro series, in the coming months. The Iris Pro 30 is priced at Rs. 15,999, and will be available across national retail chain stores, multi-brand outlets across India and online stores beginning 3rd week of January.
Lava Iris Pro 30 sports a 4.7 inch HD IPS (312 ppi) display with 1280×720 resolution. This display is OGS (one glass solution) that makes it one of the slimmest phones at just 7.5 mm thickness. This smartphone weighs just 114 grams, and according to Lava, it is the lightest phone in India in 4.7” or more screen size category. The LCD used in Iris Pro 30 is from Sharp, a leading Japanese LCD manufacturer. This LCD possesses 500 LCM bright display, one of the best in this category. This smartphone has Gorilla Glass protection.
Lava Iris Pro 30 is equipped with an 8MP rear camera, 3MP front camera, Dual LED flash and BSI sensor, which will give users an outstanding shooting experience along with features like face detection, four-directional panoramic view and 1080p video recording at 30fps. The Iris Pro 30 is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad Core processor and SGX 544 GPU, which is ideal for excellent graphics for high-end graphic intensive games. This smartphone comes with 1GB RAM and 4GB of inernal memory, which can be expanded upto 32GB via MicroSD card.
The phone is packed with a 2000mAh battery with CABC (Content Adaptive backlight control) technology that enables it to last 30% more compared to conventional smartphone batteries. According to LAVA, this technolgoy of battery has been adopted by Samsung also in their latest Galaxy S4 smartphone. The technology intensifies the black and reduces the shadow to increase the transmission of the LCD display giving a sharp image while turning down the backlight to save battery.
The Iris Pro 30 also comes with software features such as flip to mute, lift to answer and call, video PIP, voice and face unlocking. The device is OTG enabled which allows it to directly read data from pen drives and receive inputs from keyboard or mouse.
To reach out to gloabl markets, Lava Iris pro 30 comes with quad band support that enables it to work in Americas, Asia and Europe.
