Lava International launched today Z Series of smartphones – Z25 and Z10. These smartphones mark the entry of Lava in the premium smartphone category and are priced at INR 18,000/- and INR 11,500/- respectively. These phones will be available in select retail stores in Delhi from March 23 and in other cities in a few weeks’ time.
Lava Z25 flaunts a 5.5 inch HD IPS Display and Lava Z10 features a 5 inch Display with 2.5D curved glass and resolution of 1280×720 pixels. The Z25 is powered by 1.5 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6750 64-bit processor with Mali T860 GPU and 4GB RAM + 32GB of internal memory, expandable to 128GB with microSD.
The Z10 is packed with 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor with Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB RAM +16GB of internal memory, expandable to 128GB with MicroSD card.
The Z25 is mounted with 13-MP rear camera with Sony Exmor RSTM sensor, F/2.0 wide-aperture, 5P Largan lens. For selfies, this phone is fitted with an 8-MP front camera with spotlight flash. On the other hand, the Z10 is equipped with 8 MP Rear camera with F/2.0 aperture and 5 MP Selfie Camera with spotlight flash. Rear cameras of both phones support ‘Bokeh Mode’ feature to make objects stand out from the background, and ‘Night Pro’ mode to take vivid photographs even in low light conditions.
The Z25 is packed with 3020 mAh ATL battery whereas the Z10 has 2620 mAh ATL battery with ‘Power Saver mode’ and ‘Super Power Saver mode’ which extends the battery backup by 5 hours 20 mins and 18 hours respectively as claimed by the company.
Both the phone runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) based Star OS 3.3. Both the phone are Dual Sim devices and come equipped the latest multilingual keyboard that supports 11 Indian Languages. Both the phones offer connectivity options of 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS.
Lava Z25 also has Fingerprint sensor on the back which unlocks the phone in 0.16 seconds and is supported by App Encryption which allows the users to unlock apps only with their own fingerprints. Both the phones have features of Smart Gestures which allow users to easily access various features of the phone. OTG support allow high speed data transfer and 3 Point Touch lets users take a screen shot by swiping down the screen with three fingers.
Lava Z25 will be available in Champagne Gold and Grey while Lava Z10 in Gold color variant. These smartphones also offer screen replacement warranty for one year and 30 Day Replacement Policy where consumers will get a replacement with new device in case of any hardware damage within a span of 30 days of purchase.
