Lenovo has launched today new smartphones in its A series: A6600, A6600 Plus and A7700. These are affordable phones and support 4G & VoLTE ready. The new A series is compatible with Reliance JIO and users can avail the Reliance JIO preview offer with a validity of 90 days. These new phones come with Android 6.0 out of the box with minimum bloatware.
The A6600 series is powered by 64-bit MediaTek 6735p quad-core 1.0GHz processor along with 1GB of RAM in A6600 and 2GB RAM in A6600 Plus respectively.
The A6600 series is equipped with 5 inch HD screen (1280x720pixels) with 800:1 contrast ratio. It comes with 8MP autofocus rear camera with flash and has features like automatic face detection, automatic scene detection and zero shutter delays. It also houses 2MP front-facing camera.
The new A6600 series supports dual VoLTE enabled SIMs. Both the models come with 16GB internal storage capacity which is further expandable. The latest A6600 series is backed by a 2300 mAh battery.
The new A6600 series starts at INR 6,999 onwards (includes both 1GB and 2GB variants) in Matte White and Matte Black color options and devices will be available starting mid-September.
On the other hand, Lenovo A7700 is also powered by a 64-bit MediaTek 6735p quad-core 1.0GHz processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which is further expandable. It features a 5.5 inch HD display (1280x720pixels) with twin rear speakers powered by Waves Maxxaudio effects.
It is equipped with an 8 MP rear camera with dual LED flash and 2MP front-facing camera. It is packed with 2900 mAh battery and supports VoLTE enabled SIM
Available in Matte white and Matte black color options, the Lenovo A7700 is priced at INR 8,540 and will be available by September end.
