At an event in New Delhi, Lenovo today introduced upgraded Legion Y740 and Legion Y540 gaming laptops for professional gamers. These gaming laptops have a sleek sophisticated exterior and designed for epic gaming performance with very powerful hardware.
The Lenovo Legion Y740 is made of precisely machined aluminum and anodized in a sophisticated Iron Gray color with narrow borders. It includes fully customizable RGB lighting behind the keyboard and inside the thermal venting for a fun and immersive experience. The Lenovo Legion Y740 is powered by up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q GPU, as well as brighter, optional Dolby Vision-enabled displays to match its Dolby Atmos Speaker System with Dolby Sound Radar. It is packed with 9th Gen Intel Core i7 laptop processor. Its optional 144Hz Full HD (1920 x 1080) display has optional NVIDIA G-SYNC1 designed to eliminate screen-tearing and stutters and offer refresh rate upto 144Hz.
The Lenovo Legion Y540 is a step up for mainstream gamers on the go, boosted by up to the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 6G GDDR6 GPU and more power on a single charge. With its thin bezels, the Y540 packs more than 2 million pixels into a 15-inch FHD display. Combined with up to 144 Hz refresh rate, 300 nits of brightness, and an IPS Antiglare screen, this laptop is capable of providing immersive gameplay on the go. It is also packed with 9th Gen Intel Core i7 laptop processor and upto 1 TB SSD. It is powerful enough to handle action-packed MOBAs (multiplayer online battle arena) or heart-pounding FPS (first-person shooters). It also comes with Harman Kardon speakers and supports Dolby Atmos.
Both new laptops come with an upgraded battery over their predecessors, lasting up to six hours. They also feature the innovative Lenovo Legion Coldfront dual fan thermal layout that keeps the machines cool.
Legion Y740, 15-inch, is available at the starting price of INR 1,29,990 while Legion Y540, 15-inch is available at the starting price of INR 69,990.
Lenovo also showcased today the entire gaming range which includes T730 & T530 desktops, M500 RGB gaming mouse, K500 RGB mechanical keyboard and H500 & H300 stereo gaming headsets. The new legion range is available across Lenovo.com, leading e-tailers and the Lenovo stores across India.
