At an event in New Delhi, Lenovo has launched today entry-level Tab 2 A7-20. This is Android tablet and will be available on Snapdeal and Amazon at price of Rs. 5,499.
The Tab 2 A7-20 sports a 7-inch IPS display with pixels resolution of 1024×600. It is packed with 1.3GHz Quad-Core processor(MediaTek MT8127) chipset in combination with 1GB of DDR3 RAM and 8GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable to 32GB via microSD card.
This tabelt runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS. It is equipped with a 2-megapixel fixed-focus rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel front camera. This tablet comes with front speaker with Dolby Audio capability.This tablet is powered by a 3450mAh battery.
For connectivity, this tabelt supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB etc., and does not have calling feature.
Lenovo also showcased today Yoga Tab 3 tablet which has 180 degree rotatable 8 megapixel camera. This tablet comes with conveient kick-stand for multi-mode use. It sports an 8-inch IPS display with 1280×800 pixels resolution. It is powered by a quad core 1.3 GHz processor combined with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be further extended to 128GB via microSD card. This tablet runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.
The USP of this tablet is that it has an 8MP, 180° rotating auto-focus camera on the front for selfies and Skype. This tabelt comes with AnyPen technology, which enables the users to write on this tablet with a pencil or ordinary pen or ball pen or sketch with these objectives.
This tablet gets its juice from 6200 mAh Lithium-Ion non removable battery which claims to offer up-to 20 hours of usage and up-to 25 days of standby time.
For connectivity, this tablet offers options of 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and Micro USB port. For immersive audio experience, this tablet incorporates Dual-Front facing speakers with Dolby ATMOS. This tablet has weight of 472 grams.
Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 is priced Rs. 16,999 and will be available by the end of this month.
