Chinese handsets maker Lenovo is becoming aggressive in India and has expaned its portfolio of S series of smartphones. Today, they have launched S860 phablet, which is encased in a brushed metal exterior. This smartphone is priced at Rs. 21,500 and shall be avaialble across India from 3rd May in Titatnium color only.
The Lenovo S860 sports a 5.3-inch wide-view HD screen with 1280×720 pixels resolution, and is powered by a MediaTek 6582 1.3 GHz quad-core processor. This is Dual-Sim smartphone and runs on Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 OS. The S860 has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can not be expanded further. For capturing the images, this smartphone is equipped with 8MP auto-focus camera with flash and also has 1.6 fixed focus front camera.
The S860 is packed with powerful 4000 mAH battery, which is capable of delivering upto 43 hours of talktime on 2G and upto 24 hours on 3Gnetworks. This is the first device to come with the new Lenovo Power 2.0 application that helps users optimize the battery usage and get maximum life on a single charge.
The S860 also comes pre-loaded with Lenovo Premium DOit Apps that lets you transfer data to friends, speed up your device, and sync your contacts seamlessly. It also comes loaded with social networking apps like Facebook,Twitter,Skype and popular games including Asphalt 7, Real Footbal 2014 etc.
The Lenovo S860 had won multiple awards at the MWC 2014 held in Barcelona in February 2014, which include Best of MWC by UberGizmo and PhoneArena, and 10 Hottest Smartphones at the MWC by CRN.
