Chinese handsets maker Lenovo has just announced the launch of three S- Series of smartphones – S860, S850 and S660. These smartphones run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and are DUAL-SIM capable. These smartphones are priced at $349, $269 and $229, for the S860,S850 and S660 models, respectively, and will be available in select markets from June, 2014.
The key feaures of these three smartphones are that they come in sleek designs and are powered by quad-core processors, which deliver longer battery life(except for S 850) for uninterrrupted mobile experience.
Lenovo S 860 sports a a 5.3-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display, and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM plus 16GB inbuilt storage. It is equipped with an 8-megapixel rear camera and dual front speakers. It is packed with a powerful 4000 mAh battery, which according to Lenovo, has standby time of up to 40 days and can deliver talk time of up to 24 hours on 3G connections. This battery will allow users to charge their other devices on-the go by using the included micro USB cable.
Lenovo S 850 features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display, and is driven by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor coupled with 1GB of RAM plus 16 GB of internal memory. This smartphone has thin and lightweight all-glass exterior,and will come in two color variants – pink and white. This smartphone is equipped with 13 MP rear and 5 MP front camera, and is packed with 2000 mAh battery.
Finally, the budget Lenovo S 660 comes with a 4.7-inch IPS qHD (540×960 pixels) display, and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor along with 1GB of RAM plus 8 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded upto 32 GB via micro SD card. It sports an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. This smartphone is equipped with 3000 mAh battery, which is capable of giving talk-time of upto 10 hours on 2G and 7-10 hours on 3G networks.
