LG has announced today global roll-out of its new L Fino and L Bello smartphones starting with Brazil this week, which will be followed by other countries in Latin America, Europe, Asia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) in the coming weeks. These two new mid-range phones in L series were announced last month and are targetted at teenagers and first-time smartphone owners in emerging 3G markets.
LG has not announced yet the prices of these smartphones and the same will be revealed at the time of launch in the respective markets.
The L Fino will come with .5-inch WVGA IPS (800 x 480 / 207ppi) display whereas the L Bello will feature 5.0-inch FWVGA IPS (854×480 / 196ppi) display. The L Fino will be powered by a 1.2GHz Quad-Core processor whereas the L Bello will be driven by a 1.3GHz Quad-Core processor.
Both the smartphones run the Android KitKat 4.4.2 OS and will have Rear Key button design, which was introduced by LG on its premium smartphones. They are equipped with an 8MP camera and proprietary UX features that make snapping pictures fun and easy.
The L Fino & L Bello will incorporate the following features available on flagship devices of LG :
Touch & Shoot helps capture special moments quickly and intuitively by letting users tap anywhere on the display to focus and shoot in one single step.
Gesture Shot enables users to simply open and close a hand in front of the lens to start a three-second countdown before triggering the shutter.
Front Camera Light reduces the size of the preview screen and adds a bright white background for softer lighting in self-portrait mode.
Knock Code enables users to unlock their LG smartphones in one easy step by tapping a personalized “knock” pattern on the phone’s display.
QuickCircle Case gives easy access to frequently used functions such as calling, text messaging, music and camera all from the window without opening the cover.
