After getting positive response for its recently launched LG G4 smartphone for its powerful camera and display features, South Korean giant has unveiled today lower version of LG G4 known as LG G4 Beat. The LG G4 Beat comes with lower hardware but retains the best features and functions of the LG G4, and is targetted for those customers who can’t afford flagship LG G4.
The LG G4 Beat comes without leather back cover of G4 but rest of the design is similar as of G4. It will be available in Metallic Silver, Ceramic White and Shiny Gold colors. In Europe and CIS Region, LG G4 Beat will be shipped as LG G4s. LG will start rolling out G4 Beat this month in Europe and Latin America, including France, Germany and Brazil, followed by markets such as Canada, India, Russia, Singapore, South Africa and Turkey, among others.
The LG G4 Beat features a 5.2-inch Full HD IPS Display compared to 5.5 inches of LG G4. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor running eight cores at 1.5GHz with integrated 4G LTE. It is equipped with an 8MP rear camera supported by LG’s exclusive Color Spectrum Sensor and Laser Auto Focus. It also incorporates Manual Mode, one of the most acclaimed features in the G4, which allows full creative control over every detail in each shot. LG has also enhanced the 5MP front-facing shooter with Gesture Interval Shot to allow users to take four consecutive selfies with a single hand gesture.
The G4 Beat comes with 1.5GB RAM and 8GB eMMC ROM, and runs on Android Lollipop 5.1.1 OS. It is packed with 2300mAh removable battery. It has dimensions of 142.7 x 72.6 x 9.85mm, and its weight is 139 grams.
