Indian handset brand, XOLO, promoted by Lava International, has launched today XOLO BLACK smartphone for Rs. 12,999. This device will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting 13th July, 2015. However, existing XOLO customers can get this smartphone on 12th July, 2015 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. All they have to do is to do registration for ‘XOLO First’, which will commence on www.xolo.in from 4:00 PM on 10th July till 8:00 PM on 11th July.
The USP of XOLO BLACK is its combination of 13MP and 2 MP cameras provided on the rear of the phone. These two cameras on the rear side work in tandem to create unique imaging experiences, including super-fast focus and depth mapping for post-capture image processing, as stated by the company. The BLACK also houses a 5MP front camera with wide angle lens and flash for clicking good selfies even in low light conditions. The Dual Rear camera module has following key features:
UbiFocus : allows users to focus and refocus objects even after the image has been captured.
Fast Focus: With just 0.15 sec autofocus time, the BLACK camera is ideal for instant smartphone photography.
ChromaFlash enables the BLACK camera to retain natural colors and skin tones even in low light condition.
OptiZoom significantly improves the clarity of images captured using zoom, via sophisticated image processing technology, which enhances the true resolution of the image.
‘Photo Studio’ powered by Adobe is integrated in the BLACK image gallery, providing a host of editing features which allow users to play with the images taken, using various filters.
Besides unique rear camera features, the XOLO BLACK also has other powerful hardware features. It sports a 5.5 inch, Full HD OGS IPS display with a pixel density of 401 PPI and resolution of 1080×1920, with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on both sides. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Octa-Core processor with 64-bit CPU architecture and integrated 4G LTE coupled with LPDDR3 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory, which is expandable to 32 GB via a unique Hybrid Dual SIM technology. The BLACK also supports USB OTG for additional storage requirement.
The other plus point of XOLO BLACK is its large 3200mAh battery, which is claimed to deliver 20% more power with the help of load balancing technology. It also uses the Quick Charge 1.0 technology in tandem with a 2Amp charger, resulting in 50% charging in under an hour and 100 % charging in 2.5 hours.
The XOLO BLACK runs on HIVE atlas, the latest version of XOLO’s proprietary software platform based on Android Lollipop 5.0 OS.
For music enthusiasts, the BLACK has been pre-tuned with popular, select headsets from JBL, Skull Candy, Creative, Panasonic and Sennheiser.
This phone has dimensions of 155.5×76.6×7.3 mm. This phone has thickness of 7.3 mm, which gives it good look and is easy to handle despite its large screen of 5.5 inches.
To promote the BLACK, XOLO has tied-up with Vodafone. The buyers of the BLACK will get 1GB data per month for two months and unlimited Vodafone music for two months. The prospective buyers can visit over 100 flagship Vodafone stores across key cities for a hands-on experience of BLACK, starting today.
