Manual GPRS & MMS Settings For Airtel, Idea, Vodafone, Tata Docomo, Reliance, Aircel, Bsnl, Uninor and Videocon

I have been asked innumerable number of times via comments and contact for manual GPRS and MMS settings of various mobile service providers in India viz. Airtel, Idea, Vodafone, TATA Docomo (Dive In), Reliance, Aircel, BSNL, Videocon, Uninor, etc. Seeking this demand from the readers of TechVorm, i have finally managed to list down some of the settings which you can configure yourself without calling the (not so helpful) respective customer care representatives. Also, using these settings you can configure and run Internet (GPRS/EDGE) on those mobile phones which aren’t supported by your service providers! Following are the manual settings:

Hey Pari….
I myself use uninor…
For your kind info its only the APN that matters a lot in GPRS or EDGE network…
And APN for uninor is: wap.myuninor.in

hi….vodafone hv diff. plans for iphone custmr.knws as i-data packs..(prepaid & postpaid).if ur iphone is 3.0 or of above version..thn it suport i-data packs othrwise u cm use vmc…..of vodafone..and u can sync ur iphone intrnt setng by i-tunes.

Contact vodafone customer care. If that doesn’t help, try and use the above mentioned settings to get Internet working.

the above mentioned settings only work on mobile phones and NOT for browsing on computer using data cable.

dear sir,
i have a handset nokia 2690. i am trying to connect internet with uninor service . customer care does not help me so much .u have given the above information homepage , port , apn i dont know what to do. kindly help me in connecting . i am trying to connect with data cable. i can use my gprs on mobile only. when i am trying to connect an error 734 or 692 comes . i am using windows xp software. i have installed nokia pc suite . i used tata docomo very easily. i am fed up with customer cares suggestions. kindly give the solution to me immediately.

AFAIK the Rs. 599 service isn’t available yet. Though the plans are there to launch it. Moreover, call the customer care department to get more info regarding this.
