Maruti Suzuki India today announced the launch of the S-CNG variant of its highly succesful hatchback, Swift. Maruti Swift S-CNG Variant is powered by the advanced 1.2L K-series Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine. The new Swift S-CNG delivers a peak power of 57kW (77.49PS) @6000rpm and max Torque of 98.5Nm@4300rpm. The new Swift S-CNG offers fuel efficiency of 30.90 Km/kg.
Maruti Swift S-CNG VXI variant is priced at 7.77 Lakhs ex-showroom and ZXI variant is priced at INR 8.45 Lakhs ex-showroom.
The S-CNG Swift comes with dual interdependent Electronic Control Units (ECU) and an intelligent injection system to provide an air-fuel ratio that ensures superior performance with better savings. The S-CNG vehicles’ safety has further been enhanced with stainless steel pipes and joints to avoid corrosion and any kind of leakage in the entire CNG structure, integrated wire harnesses are used to eliminate short-circuiting and a microswitch ensures that the vehicle is off and does not start during CNG fuel filling process.
The Swift S-CNG vehicle’s powertrain and suspension have been specially tuned to offer better engine durability, greater mileage and superior safety. Maruti Suzuki S-CNG vehicles go through a rigorous development cycle and stringent manufacturing checks to ensure complete peace of mind for the customers as stated by Maruti Suzuki India.
