At an event in Beijing, Chinese handsets maker, Meizu has launched m3s smartphone in two variants – 2GB RAM/16GB internal storage and 3GB RAM/32GB of internal storage. This phone comes in four colors options of silver, grey, gold and rose gold.
On the specifications front, Meizu m3s features a 5 inch HD display with resolution of 1280×720 pixels with 2.5D curved glass protection. This smartphone is driven by an octa-core MediaTek processor coupled with Mali T860 GPU. The internal storage of this phone can be extended upto 128GB via microSD card.
Meizu m3s sports a 13MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF, f/2.2 aperture and 5 element lens. It comes with Burst mode, Panorama mode etc. It also houses a 5MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video conferencing. It is packed with a 3,020 mAh battery. This phone also incorporates a fingerprint sensor on the home buttton.
On the connectivity front, it offers support for 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS etc. This smartphone comes with hybrid dual-sim support and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop-based Flyme OS 5.1.
The price of 2GB RAM/16GB storage variant is $106 ( approx. Rs. 7,000) and 3GB RAM/32GB RAM variant has price tag of $136 (approx. Rs. 9,000). This phone will go on sale in China from 17th June. Their is no word when this phone will be available in India and in other global markets.
