Intex Technologies has forayed into Virtual Realitty space and launched today its first-ever Virtual Reality Cardboard – Intex EYELET, which will come bundled with the latest 4G smartphone, Aqua View. Intex EYELET is version-2 of Google cardboard and is compatible with any smartphone (Hardware should support Gyroscope and Accelerometer sensor).
Intex EYELET is certified with Google Cardboard (WWGC) device, making Intex the first brand in India to launch a Google-certified Cardboard viewer. The 4G-enabled smartphone, Aqua View along with Intex EYELET has a price tag of Rs. 8,999. This phone is available in Grey and White colors.
Intex EYELET takes you to fascinating world of 3D and you can enjoy a 360 degree view. The device has an in-built cardboard application that allows users to experience EYELET VR technology.
The Aqua View comes with a 5-inch HD display with resolution of 1280×720 pixels with a 2.5D curved glass. Under the hood is 64 Bit Quad Core Mediatek processor paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be extended upto 32GB via microSD card. This phone gets its juice from 2200mAh Li-Ion battery which is claimed to offer a talk-time of up to 7 hours and a standby time of 9 days.
One of the prominent feature of the Aqua View is that it incorporates fingerprint sensor at the front home button for securing the phone. This phone runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 OS.
On the imaging front, this smartphone has an 8MP Rear auto-focus camera with LED flash and 5MP front camera for selfies. The camera has various modes like Face Beauty mode, anti-shake, motion tracker mode, Live photo mode and Gesture V capture mode.
Besides offering connectivity of 4G LTE with VoLTE (Voice Over LTE network) feature which enables users to enjoy the crystal clarity of HD voice calls, this phone also offers other standard connectivity features.
