Alongside Mi 10, Xiaomi India has also launched today Mi Box 4K and Mi True Wireless Earphones 2.
Mi Box 4K runs on Android TV 9.0 and comes with built-in Chromecast. It runs on the latest Android TV version (9.0) and gives access to Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+Hotstar, YouTube and 5000+ apps/games on the Google Play store. The device comes with built-in Chromecast that allows users to cast up to 4K Ultra-HD across mobile, tablet or laptops (Windows/MacOS). Mi Box 4K also supports voice search powered by Google Assistant. The Remote of this box features dedicated hotkeys for Google Assistant, Netflix and Prime Video.
Mi Box 4K is an Android TV streaming media player that converts any non-smart TV into a smart TV. The device follows a simple three-step set up process and allows users to stream their favorite content. The device supports 4K Ultra HD video content playback at 60fps and the latest HDR10 standard. It automatically adjusts to deliver crystal clear output on all types of TV screens – HD/FHD/UHD and delivers rich audio with Dolby Audio and DTS 2.0 support.
Mi Box 4K is the first Android TV-based streaming box to bring Google’s Data Saver built especially for India. Data Saver allows upto three times more content streaming, along with data counter for individual apps, and the ability to cast locally and wirelessly to the TV without the need for an internet connection.
Mi Box 4K has a compact and lightweight design. It has a 64-bit quad-core processor and a Mali-450 GPU, backed by 2GB RAM and 8GB of flash storage. It supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi bands and also supports offline video playback. It also has Bluetooth 4.2 for connecting Bluetooth speakers, headsets and gaming controllers.
Mi Box 4K will be available at a price of INR 3,499 starting 10th May, 2020 at 12:00 pm across Mi.com, Mi Homes and Flipkart.com. Buyers can avail offers from content partners of Xiaomi such as DocuBay, Shemaroo Me, Epic On and Hoichoi.
Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 comes with 14.2mm dynamic drivers for an immesive audio output. It has a stylish and ergonomic slip-proof design. It has Bluetooth 5.0 feature to connect to Android and iOS devices.
Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 feature Environment Noise Cancellation (ENC) capabilities that enhance call quality. The earphones support LHDC with high-definition audio, SBC and AAC codecs, which help in reproduction of the original sound and also prevents vocal ranges from blending together with instruments. The bundled case allows fourteen hours of playback in a single charge with the case and four hours of listening time otherwise as claimed by the company.
Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 will be available on Mi.com, Mi Homes, Amazon.in and offline retail partners at a price of INR 4,499 starting 12 May, 2020 at 12:00 pm. The product will be available on a special price of INR 3,999 from 12th to 17th May on Mi.com, Mi Homes, Amazon.in and offline retail partners.
