At an online event, Xiaomi India has launched today Mi 10 5G smartphone. This phone comes in two variants of 8GB RAM with 128GB/256GB of storage.
On the specifications front, the Mi 10 sports a 6.67 inch (2340 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ Curved AMOLED display with support for HDR10 + and 90Hz refresh rate. This phone is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and back. This phone is powered by the latest Octa Core Snapdragon 865 7nm Mobile Processor with Adreno 650 GPU. The latest processor also features an X55 modem for lightning-fast 5G connectivity, and supports 5G MultiLink for simultaneous connection to three networks (2.4GHz Wi-Fi, 5GHz Wi-Fi and mobile data) at once. This phone comes with 8GB LPPDDR5 RAM with 128GB / 256GB UFS 3.0 storage. It is packed with 4780mAh battery with 30W fast charger in the box. Mi 10 also offers 30W wired charging and world’s fastest 30W wireless charging. It also supports 10W reverse wireless charge.
This is Dual SIM supporting phone and runs MIUI 11 based on Android 10. For security, this phone has in-display fingerprint sensor and also incorporates Infrared sensor.
On the photography front, the Mi 10 is armed with 108MP rear camera with features of OIS+EIS, Dual LED flash, 13MP 123° ultra-wide angle lens, 2MP depth sensor and 2MP macro lens. The rear camera has other features of 8k video recording at 30fps, Pro Mode for Video, Log Mode, RAW Mode, VLOG Mode, Night Mode to name a few. For selfie, it is equipped with 20MP front camera with features of AI Beautify, AI Makeup, Portrait video and slow motion video.
This phone is also packed with Dual stereo speakers and offers connectivity options of
USB Type-C audio, 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 6 802.11 ax, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS (L1 + L5) and NFC. This phone has dimensions of 162.58 x 74.80 x 8.96mm and weighs 208g.
Mi 10 will be available in two colour variants – Twilight Grey and Coral Green in 8GB +128GB, 8GB + 256GB variants at a starting price of INR 49,999 and INR 54,999 respectively on Mi.com, Mi Homes, Amazon.in and offline retail partners. It will go on pre-order starting 8 May, 2020 at 2:00 pm across all channels and buyers will get a Mi Wireless Power Bank 10000mAh worth INR 2,499 free when they pre-order the device. Buyers will also be able to avail upto INR 3,000 discount with HDFC debit and credit cards. There is also an extended No Cost EMI option for upto 12 months. Mi 10 will go on sale across platforms on 18th May 2020.
