Micromax has silently added another smartphone in its Canvas series. The new Micromax Canvas Power A96 has been listed on the company’s website and is priced at Rs. 9,990. This is available in the stock and Micromax promises to ship it in 7-10 days from the date of placement of the order.
The key feature of Micromax Canvas Power is its very powerful 4000mAh battery, which is seldom seen on the sub-Rs. 10k smartphones. Micromax claims that this battery will give up to 5.5 hours of talktime and 450 hours of standby time. This will be ideal for full day operations even with heavy usage.
The Canvas Power sports a 5-inch TFT display with resolution of 480×854 pixels, and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor, coupled with 512MB of RAM plus 4GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. This smartphone runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS, and comes with dual-SIM slots (GSM+GSM). The Canvas Power is equipped with a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and 0.3 MP front camera.
For connectivity, this smartphone include 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. The Canvas Power will come pre-loaded with apps such as Kingsoft Office, Hike, Opera Mini and M! Live, and BBM.
The Canvas Power price is quite attractive and keeping in view of its specifications, this smartphone will move quickly and will prove good value for money for budget customers.
