Micromax is on launching spree of 4G enabled smartphones in India because of expansion of 4G networks in India. Today, Micromax has added one more 4G enabled smartphone in its portfolio, which is Canvas Xpress 4G.
The Canvas Xpress 4G is an affordable smartphone having a price tag of Rs. 6,599. It is available in blue color only. This phone will be sold exclusively by Flipkart starting from today. Micromax has also collaborated with Airtel and is offering double data offer for Airtel customers for 6 months. Micromax has also announced that all the future Xpress series phones will also be sold exclusively by Flipkart.
From the hardware point of view, the Canvas Xpress 4G comes with 5 inch (1280 x 720 pixels resolution) HD IPS display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. This is a Dual SIM device and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. Under the hood is 1 GHz Quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor with Mali-T720 GPU combined with 2GB DDR3 RAM. It comes with 16GB internal memory, which can be expanded upto 32GB with the help of microSD card.
On the imaging front, the Canvas Xpress 4G is equipped with an 8MP rear camera with auto-focus, LED Flash, OmniVision sensor and for selfies, this phone has 2MP camera on the front with fixed-focus.
For connectivity, this phone offers options of 4G LTE (TDD-LTE Band 40 (2300MHz) and FDD-LTE Band 3 (1800MHz) ), 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPRS/ EDGE and Micro-USB. It is packed with 2000mAh battery.
