Micromax has announced the launch of two new selfie smartphones- Bolt Selfie and Canvas Selfie, which are entry level smartphones for selfie enthusiasts. The Bolt Selfie is priced Rs. 4.999 and will be available on Flipkart in White & Champagne colours. Micomax has not disclosed the price of Canvas selfie, which will be available across retail stores from end of May 2016.
Bolt Selfie comes with a 5 MP front and rear cameras with features such as Face and Beauty Mode and Gesture Capture. The 4G enabled smartphone is packed with a 1GHz Quad Core processor and 1GB RAM and 8 ROM, expandable to 32GB. It has a 4.5-inch screen and is packed with 1750mAh battery. This phone runs on Android Lollipop OS.
On the other hand, Canvas Selfie 4 runs on the latest Marshmallow OS. This phone comes with a Tap Sensor on the rear for the first time. The tap sensor on the rear allows the users to conveniently click a picture, swap camera from front to back and vice-versa with a single tap making it easy to click pictures with a single hand. The tap sensor can also be used to answer a call with a double tap. It sports a 5 inch IPS display, 8MP front and rear camera with the Face Beauty mode which lets the users balance facial features, soften complexions and remove skin blemishes to create flawless photos in real time. This phone is packed with 1.3 GHz Quad Core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB ROM, which can be extended upto 32GB and 2500mAh battery. This is 3G enabled phone.
