Micromax has officially launched today its latest Canvas Doodle 4 phablet, which was being teased for sometimes now. The Canvas Doodle 4 has a price tag of Rs. 9,499. The Canvas Doodle is the fourth device in the Canvas series of Micromax.
The Canvas Doodle features a 6-inch qHD IPS display with screen resolution of 540×960 pixels and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MTK6582M) processor coupled with 1GB DDR3 RAM and 8GB of inbuilt storage, which can be extended upto 32GB via microSD card. This is a Dual-SIM device and runs on the latest Android Lollipop 5.0 OS.
The Canvas Doodle 4 is equipped with an 8 MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash, and a 2MP fixed-focus front camera. It is packed with a 3000mAh battery, which is claimed to provide talk time of 10 hours and a stand by time of 300 hours. For connectivity, the Canvas Doodle 4 offers options of Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, USB etc.
The Canvas Doodle 4 comes pre-loaded with various apps such as App Center, Chaatz , Clean Master , Evernote , Hotstar , Newshunt , Quicr, Skitch and Snapdeal.
The Canvas Doodle 4 rolled-out by Micromax is the first phablet in this price-point. But, of late, the consumers are shifting back to maximum screen size of 5 to 5.2 inches, which is easy to carrry and can be operated with one hand. Probably, this phablet of Micromax is addressed to those who crave for bigger screen, but has limited budget.
