Motorola India has launcheded today another variant of Moto 360 smartwatch in India- the Moto 360 Sport. This will be available exclusively on Flipkart at Rs. 19,999 in Black colour variant only. You may recall Motorola India had launched Moto 360 (2nd Gen) in India last year at the same price.
The Moto 360 Sport has silicone construction which doesn’t absorb sweat and resists fading or staining, while side ventilation channels help you stay cool.The Android Wear-powered Moto 360 Sport features edge-to-edge glass and an exceptionally thin bezel, giving you the most viewing area in the least amount of space.
This watch has built-in GPS that track the distance traveled, pace, lap times and more. It also continuously track your heart rate during a run to monitor your performance and measure the time you spend in different heart rate zones to make sure you are achieving your fitness goals.
For enjoying your workout, you can sync your favorite playlists and podcasts from Google Play Music with your Moto 360 Sport and listen them with a Bluetooth earphone on your run or at the gym without taking your phone with you.
Besides above, you can read Gmail messages and calendar invites, reply to friends on WhatsApp, get up-to-the-minute traffic and weather reports on this smartwatch.
Moto 360 Sport features a 1.37-inch LCD display having 360×325 pixels resolution and 263ppi pixel density with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection from scratches. The display of this watch has AnyLight feture which according to Motorola is the world’s first hybrid display that lets you see things clearly both indoors and out.
Moto 360 Sport is packed with a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with Adreno 305 with 450MHz GPU paired with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of storage. This watch is IP67 certified dust and water resistant but not waterproof device. It can be paired with smartphone via Bluetooth 4.0. and also supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g. It comes with Barometric Altimeter, Accelerometer, Ambient Light Sensor, Gyroscope and Vibration/Haptics engine. This watch gets its juice from 300mAh battery which is good enough for a full day of mixed use, as claimed by the company. It comes with wireless charging with charging dock included in the box.
