Moto G (3rd Gen) With 13MP Camera, Dual SIM 4G & Water Resistant Feature Launched At Rs. 11,999

Motorola has launched today its latest Moto G ( 3rd Gen ) smartphone at an event in New Delhi. The Motorola Moto G (Gen 3) comes in two variants – with 1GB RAM and 8GB inbuilt storage  at Rs. 11,999, and a 16GB variant with 2GB of RAM priced at Rs. 12,999. The latest Moto G will go for sale from today midnight exclusively on Flipkart.com.

Motorola has added 4G LTE connectivity to the new iteration of Moto G and also added 2GB Ram in one of the variants.

Moto G (3rd Gen ) features a 5 inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor coupled with an Adreno 306 GPU compared to the Moto G (Gen 2), which was equipped with a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 (MSM8226) processor and the Adreno 305 GPU. The new Moto G runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.

Motorola has also enhanced the camera capabilites and features on Moto G (3rd Gen ). It is now equipped with a 13 MP camea with f2.0 lens, with Dual Dynamic Correlated Colour Temperature (CCT) flash, which the company states automatically adjusts to ensure you get natural looking skin tones and consistent vibrant colours. The previous version of Moto G was having 8MP rear camera. For selfie lovers, the front camera has also been upgraded from 2MP to 5MP on the 3rd Gen Moto G. The 5MP front shooter has a wide 72 degree field of view. It also has Motorola’s “Best Shot” feature which captures multiple shots before and after you touch the screen and recognises issues like blurred subjects or blinking eyes and recommends the best picture to keep, so you always get the best shot.

This phone gets its juice from powerful 2470 mAh battery.

Motorola has added new features in its latest Moto G smartphone such as Moto Display, which gives you a discrete preview of notifications and updates even when your phone is in locked screen mode; Quick Capture for instantly launching the camera by twisting your wrist twice; Chop twice – with this feature you can flick your wrist twice quickly to launch the flashlight and repeat to turn it off.

The Moto G (3rd Gen) has IPX7-rated protection, which keeps it  safe from splashes and accidental drops in water. It is designed to withstand immersion in up to 3 feet of fresh water for up to 30 minutes, provided the back cover is properly sealed. It is not designed to work while submerged underwater. It is not advisable to use this phone while swimming.

The new Moto G can be customised with 10 different Motorola Shells and 5 flip shells available in a variety of colours and materials to suit your taste and personality.
