Motorola, owned by Lenovo, has launched today mid-range Moto Z2 Play smartphone in India. This phone runs on the latest Android Nougat 7.1 OS and can be paired with Moto Mods.
On the hardware front, this phone sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by 2.2GHz GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 626 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. It has 4GB LPDDR3 RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be further expanded upto 2TB with microSD card. This phone gets its juice from 3000mAh battery with Turbo charging that is claimed to give up to 7 hours of power in just 15 minutes of charging.
On the imaging front, this phone is mounted with 12MP rear camerar with dual-pixel autofocus, f/ 1.7 aperture, laser autofocus, phase detection autofocus (PDAF), dual LED color correlated temperature (CCT) flash and 4K video recording feature. For selfies, this phone is equipped with 5MP front camera with a wide view lens, f/ 2.2 aperture, and dual LED color correlated temperature (CCT) flash.
This is Dual SIM phone and also incorporates fingerprint sensor. This phone has an all-metal unibody design with water repellent nano-coating.
For connectivity, this phone also supports 4G VoLTE, 802.11 a/b/g/n 2.4 GHz + 5 GHz, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, NFC, USB 3.1 Type-C.
