Motorola Moto 360 Smartwatch Price Reduced By Rs. 5,000

It appears that moving smartwatches in big numbers is hell of a problem for almost all the companies who are selling them. We have seen prices of smartwatches dropped considerably by all the vendors to clear their stocks and Motorola is no excception to this trend. Motorola has announced steep reduction in prices of its leather band and recently launched metal variant Moto 360 smartwatch.

Motorola has slashed the price of its both variants of Moto 360 by Rs 5,000. The leather-strap variant of the Moto 360 is now available at Rs. 12,999 compared to its earlier price of Rs. 17,999. Similarly, very recently launched metal band version is now available at Rs 14,999 against the original price of Rs. 19,999.

Motorola had launched the Moto 360 smartwatch with leather strap in India in the month of October last year.

The Moto 360 smartwatch is compatible with Android smartphones running version 4.3 or higher. It features a 1.5 inch backlit LCD display with a resolution of 320×290 pixels (205ppi) with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It has 46mm diameter and is 11mm high, and 23mm Metal Band model weighs 124 grams whereas 18mm Metal Band model has weight of 104 grams.

It is powered by a TI OMAP 3 processor, coupled with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. It is packed with 320mAh battery, which is rated to last the full day. This watch can be charged wirelessly and charging dock comes with the watch.

The Moto 360 offers Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy connectivity. With this watch, you can keep track of your steps and know your herat rate as it has built-in pedometer and heart rate monitor. It is water resistant and has IP67 rating. This watch has single physical button, a vibration motor, and dual microphones.

Moto 360 runs on Google’s new Android Wear OS, which has been designed especially for wearable device. Moto 360 smarwatch has one unique featutre as it responds to your voice also. You are required to just say “Ok Google” to ask questions. Moto 360 smartwatch has the capability to keep you on time and up to date without taking you out of the moment or distracting you. It will tell you what you need to know before you know you need it through subtle alerts and notifications. With just a twist of the wrist you can see who is emailing or calling, what time your next meeting is or a friend’s latest social post.
