New Mercedes-Benz GLC 200 SUV has been launched today in India. This SUV from the stable of Mercedes-Benz is equipped with latest generation of the MBUX interface system with intuitive and versatile operating options such as touch control and the optimized AI based voice control system.
MBUX is the combination of the touchscreen multimedia displays, navigation with augmented reality, intelligent voice control via the talk button or the “Hey Mercedes“ prompt. On the dashboard there is 10.25-inch infotainment system which runs on MBUX interface.
Mercedes-Benz has built what3words location technology into its MBUX navigation system and the users of this SUV can benefit from a precise and incredibly simple way to talk about any location. what3words is the only addressing system that allows for accurate and error-free location input by voice for a smooth driving experience.
On the design front, the appearance of this SUV is sportier and the chrome elements run from the front to the rear end as standard. The distinctive lines, muscularly sculpted surfaces and distinctive details ensure a strong off-road character. The standard-fit LED High-Performance headlamps are smaller and more raked, and have significantly modified contours. This SUV comes with the revised rear bumper and exhaust tips. The redesigned full LED tail lamps also ensure an unmistakable light signature – with the hallmark blocks of the Mercedes-Benz SUVs in backlit edge-light specification.
The GLC is equipped with the next generation of four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines which are BS 6 compliant. The M 264 two-litre four-cylinder engine has increased output at significantly lower fuel consumption.
For driver assistance, the new GLC comes with Active Braking Assist, Ambience lighting with 64 colours levels for the desired lighting mood, new steering wheel with touch control buttons, new walnut open pore wood trim, wireless charging front and midline sound system.
The new Mercedes-Benz GLC 200 is priced at INR 52.75 lakh, and the GLC 220 d 4MATIC is priced at INR 57.75 lakh, ex-showroom, India.
