The new Moto X (2nd Gen.) smartphone announced in India on 5th September alongwith new Moto G and Moto 360 smartwatch, will be available in India exclusively via Flipkart from 24th September midnight. The price of new Moto X is Rs. 31,999 for the 16GB variant and Rs. 33,999 for the wood finish and the leather back panel model.
The first-gen Moto X was launched by Motorola at Rs. 23,999 onwards.
Just to remind our valuable readers, the new Moto X features a 5.2inch AMOLED (1080×1920 pixel) Full HD display with a pixel density of 423 ppi, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 (MSM8974-AC) processor with Adreno 330@578 MHz GPU. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory.
The new Moto X is equipped with a 13 megapixel rear camera with a f/2.25 lens with 4K ultra HD video recording and dual-LED ring flash. Like new Moto G, the camera has features of Burst Mode, Panorama, Tap to focus and capability to create slow motion video etc. It also houses a 2-megapixel front-facing camera capable of 1080p HD video recording.
The new Moto X runs Android KitKat 4.4.4 OS and is fuelled by a 2300mAh battery. The connectivity options available on this smartphone are 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11a/g/b/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0LE, Micro-USB, GPS, GLONASS, and 3.5mm audio jack. The measurements of this smratphone are 140.8×72.4×9.9mm, and its weight is 144 grams.
